Three surgeries needed to merge into one while also moving to a new building, all while reassuring the community that a strong ethos based on a vision for the future of community health and well-being would be maintained. Enter the Foundry, an exciting new healthcare centre based in Lewes. To help set the tone for the new healthcare centre, the Foundry tasked Madison with designing and building a new website, complete with a new logo, bespoke illustrations and excellent accessibility features.
The end result is a simple, fluid-feeling, user-friendly website with engaging images and beautifully drawn illustrations. The site has a strong, branded finish that offers all of the information that users need to understand the new facility and the services it offers. Most importantly, thanks to ongoing conversations and consultations with GP staff and members of the local patient participation groups (PPGs), we were able to ensure that all of our deliverables kept patients as a top priority.

In addition to robust, visually appealing page architecture, our team delivered bespoke illustrations and photography services for use on various web pages such as an infographics page, and a “meet the team” page. A bold branding strategy was implemented, incorporating a new logo design too.

Understandably, members of the community needed reassurance about the changes to their healthcare system. To establish and convey the ethos of this new facility and structure, our team was given the challenge of creating bespoke branding elements and designs that inspire and reassure. After a deep dive with Foundry representatives to fully understand the ideology of this new centre, our team set about developing and implementing a bold, modern branding strategy, starting with a new logo that gives an immediate impression of holistic well-being. From there, we developed a whole host of visual elements — animated menu items, interactive animations, rollover effects, engaging photographs and customised illustrations — and we created robust, visually appealing page architecture. With premium, smooth transitions and unique accessibility features (including both a basic site search and a speech-based search) to ensure all audiences could access the site, we managed to achieve a perfect pairing between visual prowess and functionality.
